Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using Voice Input — including the Mac and Windows apps and the iOS and Android keyboards — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Voice Input lets you dictate speech, transcribe it on your device when possible, and optionally send the transcript to our cloud API to rephrase or reshape the text (for example Professional, Casual, Formal, GenZ, or Research/Task). Features may differ by platform and may change as we ship updates.
The service is provided for your personal or internal business use. You may not resell, sublicense, or wrap Voice Input as your own product without our written permission.
3. Accounts
Some features require an account. You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, appear fraudulent, or threaten the security or availability of the service.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Voice Input for unlawful, harmful, or infringing purposes
- Attempt to probe, disrupt, or overload our API or authentication systems
- Reverse-engineer the apps except where the law allows
- Share your account to circumvent limits, or create accounts through automated means
- Submit content you do not have the right to process
5. Voice, AI output, and disclaimers
Transcription and AI refinement can be imperfect. Output may omit words, invent details, or change tone in ways you did not intend. You are responsible for reviewing text before you send it, especially in medical, legal, financial, or other high-stakes contexts.
Voice Input is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
6. Intellectual property
The Voice Input name, apps, website, and related design are owned by us or our licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership of that material. You retain rights in the speech and text you create. We need only a limited license to process that text so the service can rephrase it and return a result.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information, including that raw audio is processed on-device in the current product and that only transcript text is sent for AI refinement.
8. Termination
You may stop using Voice Input at any time and may request account deletion through our delete account form. We may stop providing the service or a particular platform build with reasonable notice when practical. Sections that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers and limitation of liability) remain in effect after termination.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Voice Input. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for Voice Input in the 12 months before the claim or (b) twenty-five U.S. dollars ($25).
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in the United States have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
